Wild boar jerky peppered. 


Never thought that wild boar meat could taste that good. When at events I let people taste this I'm through my stock in no-time! The wild boar peppered (peppered) version is slightly peppered with black peppers and this is done so subtle that nothing of the original taste has been lost. It will be just a bit more spicy than the normal wild boar biltong.
I do like this more subtle work. For me it is not necessary that the peppers come at you like a slap in the face and the maker of these goodies has listened to me very well and has seasoned the meat perfectly.


So this time the wild boar comes in bigger pieces of jerky that you can cut yourself or you eat it straight out of your hand.

Price is € 8,50 per 100 grams.

Storage advice: If the bag is open and the portion is not going to be used the same day (congratulations on your self-control), remove the jerky from the original plastic packaging and put it in a sandwich bag or wrap it once in cling film and place the whole thing in the refrigerator. (Not in a freezer bag!) Such a sandwich bag or cling film can "breathe" and prevents spoilage. Placing the jerky loosely on a dish is also fine.
The jerky can be stored in the refrigerator, but it should preferably be a dry refrigerator where no moisture can get to the jerky. An opened portion should always be stored dry and "breathing" in any case.

Approximately 200 grams of wild boar meat is needed to make 100 grams of wild boar jerky.

Wild boar jerky is free from artificial preservatives, is sugar-free, soy-free and gluten-free and is wonderfully organic meat.
